On July 21st, 1967, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Stephan went to school at several different locations in and around Sacramento. He went to kindergarten in Citrus Heights, Grammar School in Immaculate Conception in Sacramento, Anna Kirchgater in Elk Grove, and lastly Sacramento High School.

He was diagnosed with ADD when he started school. Stephan had many family members that tried very hard to keep him focused, but he was determined to do it his own way. All his life art and drawing was his passion. Stephan also loved to fish and swim since he was a little child.

For the majority of his life he lived with his grandmother and her husband Bob Wood.

Stephan met his first love, Anita, and they had their son named Adam. Later in Stephan's life came Stephan Jr. For over twenty years he lived with his grandmother and his second love, Linda. Through meeting Linda, the blended family began and Stephan loved Linda until the day he died.

Stephan is following his grandfather Mariano Demandante, his step-grandfather Robert Wood and his grandmother Kaye Wood in laying to rest.

Stephan leaves behind his mother Karen Demandante-Janiga (husband Frank), Frank’s daughter Maryann Pulley, his love Linda Whiteaker, her daughter Melinda Whiteaker and Melinda’s children: Andrew, Leah, Evelyn, and Ivy; Linda’s daughter Lisa Gonzales and their children: Adrian and Issac; his son Adam and his wife Katrina along with their children: Adam, Alexaiver, Kaylani. Lastly, he leaves behind his second son Stephan Jr., many friends and many cousins.
