Stephan Binet Wilson, aged 60, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia. Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph “Joe” Samuel Wilson and Mary Binet Wilson.
Stephan attended McCracken High School in Bluffton, South Carolina, and held steadfastly to his Methodist faith throughout his life. He dedicated many years to the construction industry, working across various states and leaving a mark on all who encountered him. Known for his friendly demeanor and ability to connect with others, Stephan's spirit and kindness will remain in the hearts of those he touched and he will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Shannon Wilson, as well as his father, Joe Wilson, and his mother, Mary Binet Wilson.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas Brittain “Britt” Wilson, of Mount Pleasant.
In accordance with Stephan’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at sea.
Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Faith Home, PO Box 39, Greenwood, SC 29648.
