Stephani “Bracha” Mena, 45, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Vidant Medical Center.
Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Liberty Church in Havelock, officiated by Pastor Blake Larson.
Bracha was born on March 30, 1979, in Englewood, New Jersey, to the late Edward and Valerie Meehan. She was a loving wife to Gerardo for 12 wonderful years and a dedicated mother who found much joy in her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Bracha had a playful spirit. She enjoyed playing Pokémon and found happiness in the world of gaming. She was also a passionate animal lover, always caring for and spoiling her beloved dogs. Her gentle and nurturing nature extended to all creatures, making her home a place of love and comfort. Bracha will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Gerardo of the home; daughter, Brianne Mena of the home; sons, Jalon Mena of Jacksonville, Florida, Elijah Rosado of the home; brother, Michael Meehan (Yong Lan “Lannie”) of Okinawa, Japan; best friend, Carrie Pettit; her favorite dogs, Frankie and Jessi; and her feline, Luv.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Rosado.
