Stephanie L. Colletti, 50, of Plainfield, passed away Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. She was born August 14th, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio to her parents Dale M. and Belinda C. (Williams) Colletti.
Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Payton Steele of Plainfield; father, Dale M. Colletti (Christy Walker) of Bargersville; one brother, Michael "Melanie" Colletti of Avon; one aunt, Carol Girolami of Tennessee; and several cousins and close friends.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her mother, Belinda C. Colletti and her grandparents.
Stephanie, a proud member of the Mooresville High School class of 1992, embarked on an educational journey that reflected her determination and passion. Starting her college experience at IUPUI, she earned her Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from Ivy Tech, then returned to IUPUI to complete her Bachelor of Science degree, ultimately achieving her Master's degree from Western Governors University (WGU).
Her professional path at Methodist and University Hospitals began as a Respiratory Therapist, demonstrating her commitment and hard work as she ascended to the role of Director of Respiratory Care. A dedicated member and former president of the Indiana Society for Respiratory Care (ISRC), she embodied leadership and service. Raised in the Catholic faith, Stephanie's joy infused her love for camping in Indiana's beautiful state parks, her passion for music, and her adventurous spirit while traveling.
As a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and an enthusiast of board game nights with friends, she brought warmth and joy to those around her. Known for her compassionate heart, she made everyone feel like a friend and loved animals dearly. Above all, she cherished moments with her daughter, embodying the essence of love and connection in everything she did.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 5 to 6 pm on Friday, June 27th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A memorial service will be held at 6pm following visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
Memorial contributions may be made in Stephanie's memory to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, 12420 Stonebridge Road, Roanoke, IN 46783
