Stephanie Costa, 65, passed away on June 17, 2025 at Moffitt Cancer Center. She was surrounded by those who deeply loved her. Stephanie, affectionately known as "Stevie" by her family and closest friends, was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida with her family in 1971. She graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1978. Stephanie spent the majority of her career as a human resources professional for several banks and healthcare companies. One of Stephanie's proudest accomplishments was obtaining her bachelor's degree from Eckerd College in 2005 after years of balancing night school, her full-time job, and her family. Her journey inspired her daughters to prioritize education. She was an avid reader and dedicated Rays fan. Stephanie was devoted to her family. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Veronica Hintersehr, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Hintersehr, and her sister, Celeste Mallett. Stephanie is survived by her loving partner, Craig Costa, her daughters, Jennifer and Caitlin Costa, her son-in-law, Daniel Graves, her sister, Christine Sandel, her nieces, nephew, numerous cousins and dear friends. A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Anderson McQueen located at 2201 Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg, 33704. In lieu of flowers, suggested donations to the Rays Baseball Foundation, https://raysbaseballfoundation.givingfuel.com/rays-baseball-foundation-general-donation

So sorry to hear of Staphanies passing. She lived 2 houses from us growing up in the 70's, 80's in St. Petersburg. She and my sister Zoe were great friends growing up. Sending prayers to everyone.
