Stephanie Donovan, born on August 25, 1947, in Kronberg, Germany, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the age of 77.
Stephanie was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, known for her compassionate care and unwavering dedication to those she served. Her career was marked by her commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Stephanie cherished her role as a mother above all else. Her children were the center of her world, and she devoted herself to being present for them, always ready to offer a listening ear or a comforting word.
Stephanie had a passion for the music of Elvis Presley, often finding joy in dancing to his timeless tunes. She also enjoyed the quiet satisfaction of crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience and creativity.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Michael and Oksana Pasternak, and her devoted husband, James Donovan. Stephanie's legacy continues through her surviving family: her children Shannon Crans (Christopher), Patrick Donovan, and Cheryl Zolnowski (Brian); her cherished granddaughters, Courtney Zolnowski and Amanda Zolnowski; and her great-grandchildren, Maylee Young, Dakota Zolnowski, and Kyson Zolnowski.
A celebration of life will be held on March 16, 2025 at 2:00 pm, located at Lively Stones Baptist Church, 2347 Chandler Mill Rd, Pelham NC 27311.
