Stephanie Gonzales 49, died Saturday, September 13, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on September 23, 1975, the daughter to Tina Lopez Gonzales & Joe Gonzales.

Stephanie was born in Lakin and raised in Garden City and often spent time in Deerfield. Following high school, she worked many years at St. Catherine's Hospital kitchen followed by her employment at Menards where she made lifelong friendships. When she was no longer able to work, she spent a lot of time with family and friends but most of her time was devoted to her girls with whom she shared with Ismael Reyes Jr. Her hobbies included listening to music and singing to her grandchildren and watching Criminal Minds.

Survivors include her children- Alyssa Reyes (Alexander Ramirez), Desirae Moore (Justin Moore), Mirexa Reyes (Ismael Lopez) and Imani Reyes of Garden City KS; parents- Joe & Tina Gonzales; 3 Grandchildren- Aaliyah Ramirez, Aaniyah Ramirez & Khalani Lopez of Garden City KS. She is proceeded in death by her brother- Scott Gonzales, nephew- Kadin Gonzales and her grandparents- Ralph and Natalia Lopez and John Gonzales as well as aunts and uncles.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Rev. Jacob Schneider officiating. There is no visitation. Family suggests memorials be given to Stephanie Gonzales Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
