Stephanie Lane "Orona" Orona

Stephanie Lane Orona, beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt and sister, aged 41, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 surrounded by those she loved. Born on March 25,1984, Stephanie was a life-long resident of Los Lunas, NM.
A graduate of Los Lunas High School in 2002, she enjoyed being a member of the cheer squad. She made many life-long friends with her warm, welcoming personality. Stephanie began adulthood as a bright and enthusiastic beacon of light. Stephanie touched those
around her with her kind and gentle nature and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Her daughter, Isabella, arrived in 2005. Bella's arrival signaled a new, exciting time of love and devotion. Stephanie and husband Richard, lived their lives to help make all of Bella's dreams come true. Stephanie was a dedicated dance mom, a dependable best friend and
trustworthy confidant to her daughter.
Stephanie was an avid gardener and baker. She competed for several years in Chocolate Fantasy, an annual confection competition. She won several awards including top accolades for her sculptural chocolate show pieces and truffles. Stephanie also loved the
outdoors and was an accomplished angler who out fished most of the people around her on a regular basis.
She is survived by her husband Richard Moya and beloved daughter Isabella Orona, parents Anthony and Eloise Orona, Johnny and Debbie Moya, brother Angelo Orona and wife Lisa, sister Anna and husband Pat, aunts Della and Alice, and nieces/nephews, Gabriella, Sophia, Olivia, BreAnna, Hunter, Noah. These children were the light of her life.
