On the night of Saturday, July 23, 2022, Stephanie Gill Pool passed away at Atrium Health-Wake Forest with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born on July 25, 1974 in Buncombe County to the late William and Carolyn Plemmons Gill.
Stephanie was known as a very loving and giving person. She enjoyed traveling, her most recent trip was to Maine to celebrate her eleven-year wedding anniversary. She loved her Bassett Hounds, Annabelle and Abbi. She worked as a data manager at East McDowell Middle School for a number of years. Stephanie will be missed by all that knew her.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, James Harold Pool, Jr.; two aunts, Revonda West and Pat Burnette; sister-in-law, Jennifer Pool Bailey; one nephew, Jake Bailey; mother and father-in-law, Harold and Joyce Pool and a number of cousins, including Tori Dowdy.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
