Obituary published on Legacy.com by Merkle Funeral Service, Inc. - South Monroe on Mar. 6, 2025.
Stephanie Riling was born on May 14, 1984, in Traverse City, Michigan. She was one of three children born from the union of Clyde Riling and Deborah (Boise) Riling. She graduated from Airport High School along with the class of 2002.
Stephanie enjoyed the simple joy of gardening, spending countless hours outside working in her yard. Each May, like clockwork, she revitalized her front yard, meticulously placing mulch and nurturing her plants, transforming her outdoor space into a lush paradise. The mowing of her grass wasn't a chore but therapeutic. Stephanie's affinity for the sun was legendary, she always basked in the summer warmth, with her goal of achieving a golden tan.
Life didn't always hand Stephanie the best cards; yet, with unparalleled perseverance, she turned every challenge into a steppingstone that led her family towards a brighter future. Her nature made her a true go-getter who faced each day with great determination.
Stephanie's heart was generous, as a devoted mother, she ensured her children wanted for nothing, regularly sacrificing her own needs for their happiness and well-being. Her daughter Jayda held a special place in her heart. Stephanie was Jayda's biggest cheerleader, always believing in her potential even more than she did in her own. She showered her family with endless love, putting them first in all she did.
Stephanie was the glue that held her family together, and her role extended beyond merely keeping the peace. She was the pillar of strength and knew just how to lift spirits with her infectious optimism. Her home was more than just a shelter; it was a sanctuary, polished from top to bottom.
