Chelsea – Stephanie M. Sheehan, 29, of Chelsea, NY and previously of Albemarle, NC, Hughsonville, Wappingers Falls, and Cold Spring, NY passed away on March 13, 2022. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 2, 1992 to Ralph M. Sheehan and Patricia A. Nelson. Both have pre-deceased her.
Stephanie was kind, courageous and always willing to help everyone she encountered along her short journey here on earth. Her strong bond with her siblings and her love for her family and friends is something that will be missed the most. Stephanie always made sure she told those important to her how she felt about them. Whether it be sending a quick message to say I am thinking about you, or ending a conversation with I miss you, I appreciate you or I love you. Aside from caring for family members, Stephanie worked several jobs including private home health care aide, veterinarian assistant, and tow truck dispatch.
Stephanie is survived by so many that love her: older sisters and best friends Jodi McKnight (Kiernan), Katie Sheehan (Russ), brother Corey Sheehan (Kristen), youngest and most special sister Jean Sheehan, and dearest grandpa Walter Chudkosky, who was always there to support her. In addition, she is survived by her special aunt Linda who recently helped her with the passing of her grandmother Peggy Chudkosky; her greatest companion Apollo (fur baby boy) and several aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins.
Stephanie was pre-deceased by her parents Ralph M. Sheehan and Patricia A. Nelson, uncle Douglas Nelson III, grandmother Margaret (Peggy) Chudkosky, grandfather Ralph E. Sheehan and grandmother Jean M. Sheehan. May they all be reunited in peace.
We will be having a Celebration of Life on Sunday March 20th from 9:30-11:30am at the Chelsea Sportsman's Association, 33 Chelsea Road, Chelsea, NY 12512.
Arrangements under the direction of McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY.
