"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith."
2 Timothy 4:7
Stephanie Kay Toney Simpson, a resident of St. Francisville, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was 55 years old and employed with the Department of Corrections with 24 years of service. Steph, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this Earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, co-workers, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

Even when she was umpiring softball games across the state on weekends, she would watch services online. Steph's family was her world. Mike, Cooper, Morgan, and their four dogs (Axel, Briar, Knox and Saucey) were her whole heart. She often expressed how proud she was of her children's many accomplishments throughout their lives. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in St. Francisville starting at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Timmy Straight Burial will be at Bowman Dedon Cemetery in St. Francisville.
