Stephanie Nicole Smith

Stephanie Nicole Smith of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Sunday, January 18, at the age of 53. Steph was born on October 4, 1972, to parents Larry Smith and Lauretta (Martin) Edwards on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

A dedicated professional, Steph spent most of her career serving those with bleeding disorders to bring life-changing services into their homes. She was a dedicated worker to numerous healthcare companies, bringing empathy and compassion to those she encountered.

Born with the ability to talk to nearly everyone, Steph made friends wherever she went. Steph's vivacious laugh and listening ear were a gift to all those who met her, and she will be dearly missed by the community she has left behind.

Steph is survived by her husband, Jeff Mallory; her two children, Carina Smith and Ethan Mallory; her mother, Lauretta Edwards; three brothers, Nicholas Martinez, Matthew and Jean Smith; one sister, Angela Sharp; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Steph is preceded in death by her father, stepmother, Deborah Smith, and two beloved cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 31, at 3460 NE Akin Blvd, Lee's Summit, MO.
