Marion Stephanie "Stevie" Walker, age 81, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully following a short illness on Friday - June 20, 2025, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Born on September 1, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona, Stevie was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Tal and Ann (Davis) Walker. She was known for her vibrant spirit, unmistakable love of the color pink, and her joy in life's simple pleasures.
Stevie found happiness in creative hobbies like cross-stitching and latch hook rug-making. She delighted in receiving mail and packages, loved shopping trips, and never missed an opportunity to have her hair and nails done just right. A true fan of cowboy movies, she could often be found enjoying a Western with her cherished dogs by her side. An avid collector, Stevie surrounded herself with beautiful dolls and candles that brought her joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Walter Tal "Butch" Walker II and Jon Scott Walker.
Stevie is lovingly remembered by her sister, Patricia Parks and husband Don of Prescott, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Korki Walker of Grove, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; and her adored dog, Tramp "Pepper."
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
