Mr. Stephanos “Steve” Ieronimos Palamaris, 85, fell asleep in the Hands of the Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was born January 9, 1940, in Ysternia, on the island of Tinos, Greece. He was the son of Ieronimos and Angeliki Palamaris. He married Konstantina Mitsios in 1966 and in 1968 they immigrated to the United States with their two children. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where he happily volunteered at the Greek Festival for many years. He was the owner of Carolina Battery and his family will always remember him as a hard-working and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Steve enjoyed spending time at the beach fishing with friends and family. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often seen tending to his garden or relaxing outside on the deck while listening to Greek music. He was devoted to his family and is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Anastasia, Georgios, and Marko. Steve is survived by his wife of 61 years, Konstantina; his children, Mike Palamaris, George Palamaris and fiancé, Theodora, Angela Mantis and her husband, Stavros; his grandchildren, Stefania, Olivia, Yianna, Konstantina, Sophia, Eleni, Phil, Stephanie and a great grandson Yianni.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Minas Tsambounieris officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
