Stephen A. Bostwick, age 41 of Corning, NY passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his parent's home after a lengthy illness.
Born on February 14, 1983 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of John and Julie (Reid) Bostwick. Stephen was a graduate of Corning East High School, class of 2000. Stephen had a love for food and was employed by Picnic Pizza in Big Flats where he enjoyed eating the many foods that he made for the customers.
When he was younger, Stephen enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles. He was known to be good at fixing things, often taking apart and reassembling various mechanical and electronic items. Stephen's family will remember him as someone who loved all things music. He was a great piano and guitar player and enjoyed singing. He was a lover of animals and had a great sense of humor. He was known to be the life of the party, often playing pranks and making people laugh. Stephen will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Paige Bostwick; son, Dominic Bostwick and his mother, Hollie Minnier; parents, Jack and Julie Bostwick of Corning, NY; sister, Stacie (Raymond, II) Bowen of Painted Post, NY; nephew, Raymond Bowen, III; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friend, Brian Robbins.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in Barnard Cemetery, Corning.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's name may be sent to an SPCA of your choice or to Alcoholics Anonymous by visiting www.aa.org.
