Mr. Brooks died Saturday, June 23, 2007. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late William E. and Lou Joyce Miller Brooks. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a welder.
Surviving is his step-mother, Barbara Brooks of Columbia; fiancé, Renee Gaskin of West Columbia; sister, Cherrie Krell of West Columbia; brothers, Michael E. Brooks of Gilbert and William P. Brooks of Mill Spring, NC.
