Stephen Douglas Caron

Stephen Douglas Caron, age 78, passed away on February 13, 2026. He was born January 24, 1948 in Everett, Massachusetts to the late Robert and Laura Caron. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. In 1992, he married the love of his life, Janis McDonald. Together they built a life filled with music, laughter, and adventure. A true Renaissance man, Stephen had a passion for music in all its forms. He especially enjoyed jazz, the blues, and rock and roll. He was an accomplished pianist with a beautiful singing voice, and entertaining others came naturally to him. Stephen had a gift for connecting with people. Stephen found peace and comfort at the beach, where he loved diving in search of hidden treasures. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Caron and Paul Caron.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Janis Caron of the home; daughters, Lauren Caron of Fayetteville, Claudine Ramsey of Fayetteville; and many other friends and loved ones.

Stephen will be remembered for his talent, his free-spirit, and the love he shared for the people around him.
