Stephen Kent Clark

Stephen Kent Clark passed away on July 13, 2024, spending his last days surrounded by family. Preceded in death by his parents, Una Loy and Dr. Barney B. Clark, and brother, Gary Clark. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (Ebert), his children: Jennifer (Brent), Jeffrey (Laura), Julie (Mike), Douglas (Ashley), and Richard (Emily), 16 grandchildren, and sister Karen (Tim).
Stephen was an accomplished ear, nose, and throat surgeon who specialized in cancer removal. He helped countless patients in the Greater Seattle area throughout his 35 years in private practice. He also made time to volunteer in church, serving a full-time 2-year mission in the Western United States, serving in the bishopric of his home ward, and serving as a Gospel Doctrine teacher for 9 years.
His great loves in life included family, boating, golfing, hi-fi music, Diet Coke, and Husky Football. He also had an unrelenting penchant for mediocre Tex-Mex. His giving nature, and the unassuming humility he possessed in his later years afforded him many friends, despite his preference to spend all available time with his wife, Terry. They were inseparable in life, and their love will always serve as an example to his children. Stephen was a dear husband, father, brother, doctor, and friend. He will be greatly missed. We love you, Dad. See you on the other side.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4200 124th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA. A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM.
