Having known Steve for over 35 years, I have to admit I was never comfortable addressing him on a first name basis, simply because I had so much respect for him that Mr.Csizmar always seemed more appropriate.
Always generous always humorous always with a story to tell he set the example of how to live and face life's problems.
There are so many memories that they all crowd together at once but from having a "knack" with the Christmas tree to just sitting and listening to Steve they all seem like yesterday instead of years ago.
We had many discussions and different viewpoints on things like Vietnam, Nixon, Watergate but no matter how animated the discussion there was always something to laugh about.
Over the years our discussions evolved to a favorite subject ... food. Whether it was a new or old dish or a new or old restaurant Steve could describe food so that you felt like you tasted it with him.
I am grateful and honored to have been welcomed into his family and can never repay his generosity. The memories I have of Steve I will cherish and to me he will always be Mr.Csizmar
