Nardolillo Funeral Home Inc. - Cranston92, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Antoinette (Mardo) Cushman for sixty-six years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Stephen M. Cushman Sr. and Caroline (Brooks) Cushman.
Stephen was a veteran of the United States Airforce serving both overseas and domestically. He worked for Narragansett Brewery for many years, and he also was a self-employed carpenter.
He was the devoted father of Stephen M. Cushman, III and his wife Sandra of Cranston, Richard J. Cushman of Cranston, Robert A. Cushman and his wife Tina of Warwick and Wayne D. Cushman and his wife Sally of Cranston; cherished grandfather of David Cushman, Marissa Cushman, Talia Salera and Nicholas Salera; loving great-grandfather of Angelo, Jayden, Jaslyn and Jayce; and dear brother of Clifford Cushman of Warwick, and the late Dorothy Malo.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Church, 549 Plainfield St., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
