Stephen Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home on Dec. 27, 2025.
Stephen (Steve) Glen Davis 56 of Corbin, entered the gates of heaven Christmas morning in the year of our lord 2025. While time on earth was troubled as of lately, Steve was beyond loved by those around him.
Steve was a devoted- beyond measure- husband to his wife Amanda, father to his daughters, a proud Christian and member of the Bethlehem Baptist church, Steve was a former member of the national guard where he served his country proudly, and a loyal family man.
A retired school teacher & an avid firearms instructor, Steve loved the opportunities he got to spread knowledge and love to others. He was a gentle soul who loved fiercely and took any open opportunity to teach those around him with humor and related experiences.
Steve is proceeded in death by his father Glen Davis. He is survived by his mother Grace Davis of Williamsburg, his wife, Amanda, daughters, Becca (4), Presley (10), MaKenzie & Erica. Grandson Beni, Sisters; Stacey Manning (Shaun), and Jackie Trahan (Lee). With a slew of nieces and nephews who loved their uncle Steve, as well as adults who he would've gladly adopted as his own.
Funeral services will held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Huddleston officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Moore Cemetery with Military Honors by Disabled American Veterans Chapter 158 Honor Guard of Keavy, Ky.
Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
