Stephen A. Dougherty, 27, of Rockford passed away July 23, 2023. Born February 16, 1996, in Rockford, the son of Tanya and Daryl Woody. He graduated from high school and was a member of City First. Stephen was a musician, chef, and machine operator. He enjoyed music, lawn care, fishing, and art.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Tanya and Daryl; sisters, Megan (Rob), Jenna (Ivy), and Taylor (Victoria); nephews, Jameson, Kaslee, Shai, and Oliver; grandmother, Louise; special aunties, Janet, Vicki (Edward), Jamie (Pete), Delana and Dana (Charlie); uncles, Donny, Ray (Rhonda), Don (Gail) and Dave; special friend, Kay and numerous cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents, Roe and Leta Woody; uncles, Denny, Jimmy, and Junior; aunt, Mary and cousins, Troy and Christopher.
Service will be at 8:00 PM Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park IL, with a visitation from 6:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
