Stephen "Woody" Dowless

Stephen "Woody" Dowless, age 45, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edison and Edna Earl Dowless, Virginia Rose and Hurbert Evers. Woody is survived by his parents, Steve and Carolyn Dowless of Bladenboro, his loving wife Tiffany B. Dowless of the home, his fur baby "Sky", brother Donnie Dowless, wife Kasey and children Ellie and Carson Dowless, and sister Rose Hunt, husband Huey Long and children Zack and Josh Hunt.
Woody adored his family and his dog Sky. He enjoyed the outdoors and lived for hunting, fishing, farming, and dirt track racing. Woody was a man with a giving heart. He loved to help people and he did not like to be late. His compassion and dedication to his family and friends will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 1, 2023, from 2-3 pm at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 3 pm with the Reverend Darin Andrews officiating.
