Stephen Goffus Obituary
He was born April 11, 1965 in Sewickley, the son of the late Emil Thomas Goffus and Mary Ann (O'Donnell) Goffus.
Stephen proudly served in the United States Navy.
Surviving are his sister, Joyce Ann Goffus of Moon Township; a brother, retired Colonel Thomas Goffus of Brussels; and a nephew, Michael Goffus.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Dear Steve, thank you for teaching me the true meaning of courage - the courage to face enormous mental, physical, and emotional pain; and to find meaning through every day that we are alive. I have known few people who struggled to the extent you did, and at your core - the essence of you - I loved your kindness, compassion, generosity, sense of humor, concern for others, and deeply, deeply caring heart. May you be free from suffering and may you be at peace.
