Stephen C. "Steve" Goodrick, 77, of Pendleton passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, November 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born on March 31, 1947 to the late Ernest and Edna (McKinney) Goodrick.
He attended Madison Heights High School and worked for many years as a Mechanic for the City of Anderson. In Steve's free time, he enjoyed tinkering around as a mechanic and loved the outdoors and woodworking. While being outside he genuinely loved hunting. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Steve is survived by his two children; Todd (Bunny) Goodrick of Pendleton and Stephanie Goodrick of Anderson; Fiance, Beth King of Pendleton; One brother, Tony Gooding; Two grandchildren, Brandon (Carie) Goodrick of Markleville and Craig (Sarah) Goodrick of Shirley; He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Marsha (Barney) Goodrick; Two sisters, Carmen Doub and Cindy Lane; First wife, Linda (Gourley) Norris.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
A funeral service celebrating Steve's life will be at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Huntsville Cemetery.
The family request all visitors to wear casual, comfortable cloths as this is what Steve would want.
