Stephen Henry Haag, age 80, of Sebewaing, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025.

Stephen was born in Kilmanagh on March 12, 1945, to Walter and Julia (Krupnek) Haag. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era (April 1962-February 1964). Stephen married Donna Stahl on September 10, 1966 at New Salem Lutheran Church. She passed away August 11, 1993. He was a member of the Sebewaing American Legion Post #293 and New Salem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering in his shed and many years hunting with his son and friends at deer camp. He was a devoted father and grandfather, committing his life to God and his family.

Stephen is survived by his children: Lori (Billy) Carter of Sebewaing, Vicki Rocheleau of Mattawan, MI and Vincent (Ann) Haag of Gobles, MI; grandchildren: Stephanie Craig, Braden Carter, Zach (Alex) Rocheleau and Jordan Rocheleau; great grandchildren: David Craig III, Korbyn Craig, Brielle Rocheleau and Braxton Rocheleau; brothers: Kent (Lori) Haag, David (Gisela) Haag and Brian Haag; sisters: Barb Tahash, Connie Westbrook, Lucille (Richard) Welchner and Rita (Dennis) Bartle; and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 2 brothers: Barney and Arnie Haag.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1pm at the Sebewaing American Legion.

Memorial donations may be given to his family (c/o Lori Carter).
