Stephen R. Latour ObituaryIn Loving Memory of Stephen Latour
It is with deep sorrow and great love that we announce the passing of Stephen Latour, a devoted father, grandfather, son, entrepreneur, and friend, who passed away on Friday, June 13th.
Stephen was the beloved son of the late Alfred and Ruth Latour. He was the proud and loving father of five children: Jacob Latour, Lindsay Carrier, Gavin Latour, Allyssa Latour, and Sophia Latour. His legacy lives on through them and through his seven cherished grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and purpose to his life.
A man of dedication and vision, Stephen was the proud owner of Berkshire Surveying, where he built not just a respected business, but lasting relationships and a reputation for integrity, precision, and hard work.
Stephen found joy in life's simple pleasures: peaceful walks with his loyal dog Coastie, quiet moments at home with his spoiled cat Kit, and more recently, lively games of pickleball-a sport he quickly grew to love and play with passion.
He leaves behind a life rich in love, laughter, and purpose - a life that touched many and will be remembered always.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th from 2:30 to 4:30 PM, with a service to follow at 4:30. It will be held at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road in Litchfield, CT.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You are forever loved, deeply missed, and always in our hearts.
