Stephen John Litwa, age 67, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away suddenly on March 12th. Born in Chester, PA,

Steve has resided in Garnet Valley for the past 16 years, previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. Steve was a

graduate from the Chichester High School, class of 1976. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for

numerous years. Steve was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary where he was an instructor, teaching

Boating Safety courses. He was a free spirited man and avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting,

fishing, and para-planing in his own free time. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Steven Litwa. He is

survived by his son, Finn Litwa; wife, Maureen Esslinger Litwa;his mother, Helen Link Litwa; 4 siblings, Kevin

(Melanie) Litwa, Lauren Litwa, Allyson (Donald) Snyder, and Carolyn (Jerry) Mercadante, and longtime partner,

Janine Sherman, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 19th,

from 10:00 - 11:30am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral
