He is also survived by his loving parents Robert and Julie Lyne, his siblings Paul Lyne, Jennifer Young and Lauren Trone. His grandmother Dorthy Lyne. Born on September 26, 1977 in Joliet, Stephen was a proud graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy Class of 1996 and later earned his degree from the Joliet Junior College Culinary Arts School in 2000. A gifted chef, Stephen worked as a Chef Manager for several area hospitals and restaurants, but his most treasured role was being at stay at home Dad with his boys. Most recently, he was employed at Underground Pipe and Valve in Shorewood and contributed his talents to Chicago White Sox Charities. Stephen's passions were many. He loved bowling in leagues and with friends, had an unshakable enthusiasm for auto racing-especially the Indianapolis 500-and enjoyed following baseball, football, basketball, and cheering on his sons during their games.
