Stephen "Steve" Jerome Mace, 69, of Pearl Mississippi, passed away on July 20, 2025, at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, Mississippi.
Steve was born on April 13, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was married to the love of his life, Nora D. Mace, for 51 years, and together they built a strong, loving family rooted in devotion and resilience.
He is survived by his son, Calvin (Regina) Williams; grandchildren, Dillon Mace, Stephen Bowen, Hope Bowen, and nine other cherished grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Steve also leaves behind his sister, Jennifer Ashberry, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gloria Mace; his daughter, Stacey Mace Martin; his son, Rodney Williams; and five siblings.
Steve was a master mechanic by trade-a gifted craftsman who took great pride in his work and found joy in fixing anything with an engine. In his younger years, he was passionate about karate, and throughout his life he loved hunting, building race cars, and watching his favorite show, Gunsmoke.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sebrell Funeral Home, 425 Northpark Drive, Ridgeland, MS. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Pearson Cemetery, 928 S Pearson Rd, Pearl, MS.
Steve will be remembered for his love of life, his devotion to family, and his steadfast spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
