Stephen Curtis Martin, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2025.

He has been known as "Bro. Steve" to so many. He was born on October 16, 1950 in Moultrie, Georgia and son of the late Floyd Curtis Martin and Helen Beverly Martin. Bro. Steve worked in the shipyard for 40 years and retired from BAE Systems in Jacksonville and has faithfully preached the Gospel for more than 49 years. He pastored Southside Congregational Holiness Church and Westside Holiness Baptist Church. When he wasn't preaching, he loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family.

Surviving family include his wife of 53 years, Connie Martin; 2 sons: Greg (Lauren) Martin and Chris (Traci) Martin; 4 granddaughters: Kaylee, Riley, Zoey and Kinsley; sister, Eloise Allegood and a host of friends.

Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2025 at Peeples Funeral Home, 14165 N. Main Street with Brother James Lawrence, officiating.
