Stephen Monaghan Obituary
He was born on April 19, 1930 in New York City, NY to the late Harry and Margaret (Smith) Monaghan.
Steve was a draftsman in the commercial & industrial lighting industry.
He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War, having served aboard a submarine.
Steve was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing chess, was a fan of the NY Giants and NY Yankees.
He was the widower of Margaret H. (Moriarty) Monaghan and preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Schultze.
Surviving is his daughter, MaryEllen Schultze and her husband, Tim of Harrisburg, 2 grandsons; Michael Schultze and his wife, Kimberley, Ryan Schultze and his wife, Alison.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Boulevard, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
Memorial contributions in Steve's honor may be made to Bethesda Mission, 611 Reily Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
