Stephen A. Morrow

Stephen Allen Morrow (Grampies) 95 passed on after a time of declining health. He was born in Lancaster New Hampshire on May 6, 1931 to Almon and Ella Morrow. He was the eldest of six siblings who all predeceased him. He grew up in the north country in Lancaster and Littleton and graduated from Colebrook Academy in 1950.

He served in the Navy from 1951-1955. The first two years on the USS Shenandoahin Cuba, and on the USS Missouri stateside for the remainder of his service.

He married Gladys Flora Burns on November 20, 1955. Stephen then started his career in retail management. He worked for several different companies, starting with F.W. Woolworth and ending his long career at 81 retiring from Rocky's Ace Hardware.

He was married to Gladys for 70 years. They bought their home in Dover in 1961 where they raised their 2 children. Stanley Almon Morrow who predeceased him and Kelly Morrow Temple who is married to Charles Temple.

Steve and Gladys have 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who have been a source of great joy to them.

His life was full of faith, family and love for building and fixing things. He was very generous with his time and talents helping others in need. His many handmade bird feeders in their lovely backyard brought him great pleasure in the past few years.

He will be greatly missed, but we all have faith that he is enjoying his heavenly home. He is now reaping the rewards promised to all of our Lord's good and faithful servants.

No services are planned at this time. There will be a time of celebrating him in the near future.
