Stephen Lucas Muchow, age 47, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 25, 2024, following a heart attack.
Born on June 12, 1977, in Reedsburg, Stephen was the son of Stephen Andrew and Debra Sue (Strampe) Muchow. He was a proud graduate of Webb High School, Class of 1995. Over the years, he contributed his skills to several local companies, including D.L. Gasser Construction Company, Menards, and ABC Building Supply, and was most recently employed with Plateco Corporation.
Stephen was a loving and dedicated father and son who had a deep appreciation for family and friends. He loved working with his hands and the outdoors, snowboarding, hunting, camping and spending time at "The Pit" with his sons and dogs Wally and Gunner. He was a dedicated member of St. John Lutheran Church in Reedsburg.
Stephen is lovingly remembered by his sons, Jack and Max Muchow, of Reedsburg, WI; his parents, Stephen and Debra Muchow, also of Reedsburg; and his sister, Michelle Thanghe, of Chaska, MN. He is further survived by aunts and uncles: Stanley and Kay Muchow, Sue And Paul Zingshiem, Sandy and Steve Peterson, Sally and Dan Klitzke, nephews: Brayden and Corbin Thanghe; and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Melvin and Nina Muchow, Richard and Inez Strampe, uncles, Rick Strampe And Scott Muchow.
A celebration of Stephen's life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared as plans are finalized. Memorial contributions in Stephen's memory may be directed to a charity of choice.
