Stephen Paul Parris

Stephen Parris, 68, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on November 15, 1957, in Fort Fairfield, Maine, Steve lived a life rooted in love for his family and guided by enduring faith.
He was the beloved husband of Carla Parris for 44+ years and a devoted father to Sara Parris; Samuel Parris and his wife Stacey; Chase Parris; and Chelsea Sanna and her husband Frank. Steve found great joy in being a grandfather to Lucas and Seth Parris, Chloe and Frankie Sanna. His family was his greatest blessing, and he treasured every moment shared with them.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Merle Schriver, Max and Avis Parris; his brothers Samuel Schriver and Craig Parris; and his sister Sharon Parris-Laster. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Those who knew Steve will remember him for his sense of humor, thoughtful spirit, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He was a man of integrity who worked hard to support his family and offered strength and guidance through every season of life. His presence brought light into the lives of those around him.
Steve's faith was a quiet but steady anchor in his life. He lived with compassion and humility, reflecting values that continue to shine through his children and grandchildren.
Though he has departed this earthly life, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace. May his memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who knew him.
