Stephen L. Parulski, a cherished soul, passed away on January 16, 2026, in Elmira, NY. Born on April 19, 1948, in Bath, NY, Steve was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him.
Steve's life was one of service and dedication. A proud Veteran of the Army Corps of Engineers, he later retired from Bath Electric, Gas and Water Systems. His passion for his work extended beyond retirement as he owned and operated an Electrician Business, where he continued to contribute to numerous utility projects. His volunteer spirit shone brightly at the First Presbyterian Church of Bath, where he generously shared his many talents.
He was a staunch supporter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Wounded Warriors, and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
He was a man who found joy in giving, and his kindness was felt by all who crossed his path. Steve's generosity knew no bounds, and his actions often spoke louder than words.
Steve is survived by his loving companion, Caroline G. Saltsman; his daughters, Kelli Naylor and Tina Rice; his grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brock Naylor and Michael and Stephanie Rice; his 'adopted' daughter, Tammy Havens; his sisters, Ellen (Richard) French and Cherry (Eugene) Eldred; and his brothers, Michael (Anita) Parulski and Edwin Parulski Jr. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Edwin S. and Shirley (Crane) Parulski, and his sister, Rose Swift.
His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to guide us. Stephen L. Parulski will be deeply missed, but the warmth of his generosity and the light of his kindness will never fade.
A graveside services with Military Honors will be held at a later date at the Bath National Cemetery.
