POLLOCK
Stephen Edward Pollock Jr., affectionately known as "Fat Boy" by his friends, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the age of 43, at home surrounded by his family. Born June 17, 1982, he was a son of Stephen Edward Pollock Sr. and Terry (Evans) Pollock.
A graduate of London High School, Stephen enjoyed pay lake fishing, particularly he enjoyed Moor-Aker Pay Lake in Jeffersonville where he always managed to have the best luck. Stephen knew his way around a pool table and became quite the talented pool player over the years. He ran derby cars totaling almost 20 years across Ohio, including the Madison County Fair, where he was always proud to run for his hometown. His absolute happiest memories involved time spent with his family. Whether it was summers filled with swimming and cookouts, or simply spending time together doing nothing at all, Stephen cherished those days. Without children of his own, Stephen was determined to be the best uncle possible and shared a special bond with his niece Cheyenne and great-nephew Kaesyn. His fun-loving nature, strong will to carry on no matter what challenges he faced, and his big heart that always cared for others first will forever be fondly remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
Survivors include his mother Terry Pollock; sister Chasity (Chad North) Pollock; brother Steven Pollock; several nieces and nephews including a very special niece Cheyenne (Kayla) Corpening-Pollock and great-nephew Kaesyn Corpening-Pollock; cousins Nanny and Danno Pollock and Kenny Harrison who was more like a brother; a host of other family members and dear friends including his best friend Roger Wilson who became a father figure to Stephen upon the passing of his own father.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father Stephen Pollock Sr.; brothers Jim Pollock, John Pollock, and his twin brother Greg Pollock; numerous aunts and uncles.
A time of gathering will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in which a time of sharing memories will begin at 6:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. Fat Boy would be honored if everyone dressed in their most comfortable clothes and brought their favorite stories to share. Come as you are!
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Stephen's name may be sent to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses for the Pollock family. Donations may be submitted online at the top of the obituary under the "Donations" tab or may be submitted by contacting the funeral home directly.
Condolences for the Pollock family are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
