With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Chris Ragsdale, who left this world on November 3, 2025. Born on May 11, 1968, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Chris lived a life filled with passion and dedication. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle, respected in the community for his hard work as a truck driver and for his entrepreneurial spirit in the grain bin business around Marmaduke, Arkansas.
Chris was known for his adventurous spirit, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the moments spent fishing and hunting, and his love for vegetable gardening. As a young man, he was an active member of Lake Street Baptist Church in Paragould, where he was baptized and nurtured his faith.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, S.V. Ragsdale and Barbara Honeycutt.
He is survived by his sister, Rhonda Ragsdale-Row; his nephew, Jacob Row; his step-mother, Letha Ragsdale; his cousin, Steven Ragsdale; and his aunts, Tacie Huffman and Vonna Richmond; along with a host of other cousins and friends. Each of them will forever carry the memories and warmth that Chris imparted during his time with them.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held on a date to be announced. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their stories, offering comfort and support to one another during this difficult time. In honoring his memory, we will reflect on the joy he brought to our lives and the impact he had on those around him.
Chris will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
