Stephen C. Reddick, 77, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness.
He was born on March 10, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana to Hilbert and Charlotte (Milburn) Reddick. He was a 1966 graduate of Lapel High School. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a forklift operator. He was also a school bus driver for Lapel Schools since 2007.
He was a member of Daybreak Community Church in Lapel. He loved being outdoors, especially boating, fishing and hunting. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. But most of all, he loved serving God. He was ornery and loved to joke. He was always making people laugh.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" (Fisher) Reddick; three daughters, Teresa (husband, Barry) Retherford, Angie (husband, Mark) Jones and Amanda (husband, Jason) Twerberg; four grandchildren, Samantha (husband, Seth) Jerrils, Dylan (Lisa Nichols) Canter, Max Kern and Luke Jones; two great-grandchildren, Jocie Nichols and Maiverleigh Canter; a brother, Kenny (wife, Pam) Reddick; a sister, Barbara (husband, Rod) McGuire; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Stephen Meyers; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vernon and Katherine Fisher.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Andy Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
