Stephen Rigaud Jr. entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Wanda Brondum Rigaud for 49 years. Father of Diane Ballard (Mike), Melissa Victoriano, and Stephen Rigaud, III (Brandi). Grandfather of Hailey V. Jackson (Dillon), Bryce Victoriano, Brileigh Rigaud, Braelin Rigaud, Carter Rigaud, Creedon Rigaud, and Jordan Rigaud. Great-grandfather of Blythe Jackson. Brother of Arthur Rigaud Sr. (the late Margaret “Honey Bee”), Donald Rigaud (Mary), and Eugene Rigaud (Elizabeth). Son of the late Stephen J. Rigaud Sr and Anna Kurz Rigaud. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Stephen worked for many years as a welder for Universal Services in Harvey. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his New Orleans Saints. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
