Stephen E. Robinson, lovingly known as Steve, went home to the Lord on February 15, 2025, in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was born on October 20, 1947, in Elkhart, Indiana, to the late Burton G. and Marion (Cataldo) Robinson. He was the fifth of six children, growing up surrounded by the warmth and companionship of his family.

Steve was a man who lived life to the fullest, and his personality was truly bigger than life. He had a compassionate heart and an unwavering sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him. His ability to lighten the darkest of days and make others smile was a genuine gift that he shared generously throughout his life. His unwavering faith was a cornerstone of who he was.

Steve wanted nothing more than to witness the greatness of God. He was a good and faithful servant, always giving glory to God and living his life in accordance with the values he cherished deeply. His love for the Bible was reflected in the many favorite passages he held dear, serving as a guiding light through the seasons of his life.

In the heart of his family, Steve was a devoted husband to his wife, Jill. His compassion, unwavering support, and love will be greatly missed. His children, Shelly Richards and Seth (Rachel) Szbodi; grandchildren, Jeremy Richards Joey Richards, Cheyenne, Niya, and Thomas Szbodi; brother, Rick (Joy) Robinson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, will remember him as a beacon of light and laughter in their lives. No words can express how much he will be missed.

As we reflect on the life of Stephen E. Robinson, he would ask, "Are you a Christian? Do you know Jesus?" Steve had a sincere interest in the salvation of others and found fulfillment in leading many to Christ.

If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.     Romans 10:9

For God so loved the world, he gave his only son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.     John 3:16
