Stephen Warren Ross age 68, born November 30, 1955, passed away after a lengthy illness Feb 19, 2024. Steve was born in Covington, KY to his parents LeOris and Marlene Ross. Steve is preceded in death by his mother Marlene and brother, John. Steve is survived by his father LeOris, brothers, Tim (Karen), Mark, Robert (Nita) and Philip.
After high school, Steve joined the United States Navy, and also served on the U.S.S. Nimitz (CVN68) as a machinist's mate. After his military service, Steve worked at various job, started his own restoration business, and later got this CDL license and worked for several trucking companies.
He loved playing his drums, playing pool, and riding in the hills on his motorcycles. Steve was always the life of the party, cracking jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed the many camping trips with the family and friends and he was always ready for a cookout.
He will be sadly missed by family, numerous nephews and nieces. Steve left us with a legacy of memories which will always be remembered.
On behalf of the family we would like to thank the nurses and staff at Desert Willow, (especially), Denise for their care of Steve during his stay there. We would also like to thank Abode Hospice for their support during Steve's final days.
Per Steve's requests there will be no viewing graveside services and notifications will be scheduled at a later date.
