Stephen L. Stanton

Steve Stanton lived life unapologetically on his own terms, a man whose drive and passion shaped everything he touched. A self-made success, he held numerous engineering patents that laid the foundation for the thriving manufacturing business he founded and led until his final days. Never one to be boxed in by just work, Steve found adventure and joy on the open water, captaining his sailboat Momma's Worry and later cruising the intercoastal waterways aboard Liberty, his beloved Grand Banks yacht, always with his first mate and love of his life, Iyone, by his side.
A man of many passions, Steve indulged his love for classic cars, proudly showcasing his prized vehicles at local competitions. In later years, his attention turned skyward, where he discovered a new obsession: remote-controlled giant-scale airplanes. Steve mastered the art of flying, earning accolades at IMAC tournaments and taking an active leadership role in the RCMB flying club, even serving as its president.
Through it all, Steve's greatest love and unwavering companion was Iyone. Together, they built a life full of adventure, love, and family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father to three children, grandfather to ten grandchildren, great-grandfather to eleven great grands, and a man whose legacy of hard work and integrity continues to inspire those who knew him. Steve's presence will be deeply missed, but the indelible mark he left on both his loved ones and his many ventures will never be forgotten.
