I dont remember when I first met Steve, I just know that from the moment I met him he would become my friend for the next 30 years until the day he died. He was like a brother to me and always made me laugh. We had so many good times on Martha´s Vineyard ( way too many to count). He came for a surprise visit to see me in CA after one of my back surgeries with his video camera ( of course) under the guise of a reality tv show he totally lifted my spirits that day. I wish I could be there today to say goodbye to my beloved friend and support his family in this tragic and difficult time. I will miss our conversations and also when he would put his sweet mom Philomena on the phone. Most of all of my good times involve Stevie Stocka!

My deepest sympathies to the entire Stocker family. It was probably only two weeks ago I was telling a friend how much Stephen and I loved skiing during the years we hung out. The moguls were our favorite! Another great memory is our trip to New York when we stayed at the St. Moritz across from Central Park. He was so happy when he got to go jogging there! Not so much when I dragged him shopping on 5th Ave. I have so many cherished memories and am deeply saddened by his sudden passing.
