Stephen M. Thomas

Stephen Michael "Steve" Thomas, 68, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at his home in Epping, NH.

Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania on January 15, 1957, Steve was the son of the late George DeLong Thomas and Germaine Alice (Bazin) Thomas. He grew up in the Wheatland, California area, one of four children, and graduated from Wheatland High School, Class of 1975.

It was during his senior year at a volleyball game, that Steve approached Vikki Brown, the love of his life. Their caring relationship grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married on May 1, 1977. Together, they built their life in Redding, California, where they raised their family.

Steve worked in broadcasting as a DJ and later as a business owner, running companies in credit card processing, sales, radio media, and commercial production. Known for his sharp mind and love of numbers, Steve also gave back to his community, serving seven years on the school board in California. After moving to Epping, New Hampshire, he continued his civic involvement, running for selectman and serving on the Budget Committee.

Above all else, Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished time with his family and could always be found cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. As a lifelong animal lover, Steve also held a special place in his heart for cats.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Vikki; his children, Trish Bellinger and her husband Cliff, Tasha Pearsall and her husband, Kurt, David Thomas and his wife Sarah, and Darin Thomas and his wife Tonya; his grandchildren, Taylor Bellinger, Porter Bellinger, Drew Pearsall, Joseph Pearsall, Michael Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Max Thomas, and Logan Thomas; his sister, Elizabeth Longstreth; his brother, Tom Thomas; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Reeder.
