Sterling Leroy Rinehart, 81, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. He was born January 2, 1944 in York, PA to the late Charles and Nancy (Rupp) Rinehart. Sterling is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet, children; Lea Weigandt (Nelson) of New Freedom, Jason Rinehart (Carol) of Holly, MI, Owen Rinehart (Kathy) of Hanover, and Wendy Stremmel (Mike) of Red Lion, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and two sisters; Hilda Solito of Red Lion and Sue Heidler of Brogue. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harleys, sprint car races, hunting, fishing, listening to bluegrass music and was a member of the Jefferson Rifle Club. A visitation will be held at Pleasant View Church, 10384 Winterstown Road, Red Lion, PA 17356 on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 10 to 11 am at which time a memorial service will be held. A reception will follow at the church for immediate family. Interment private by family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Stroke Association at www.stroke.org
