Steve Allard, 65 of Louisburg, NC passed away on November 6th, 2022 at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh NC, following a chronic illness surrounded by family and friends.
Steve was born in Beckley, WV on July 2nd, 1957 to Mary Katheryn and Warren “Keith” Moomaw.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Judy Allard who he shared 46 years with.
Two sons of whom he was very proud of and four grandchildren.
David Allard and wife Stephanie, their children Addison, Tyler, and Jaxon of Daniels, WV
Jason Allard and wife Melissa, their daughter Olivia of Coal City, WV
His mother Mary Katheryn Moomaw of Lego, WV; brother Bob Allard and wife Lois of Mineral Wells, WV; sister Darlene Hix of Coal City, WV; several nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends.
Steve worked for Covenant Trucking for the past 9 years, prior to that he worked at Southern Lithoplate.
Steve was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a life-long WV Mountaineer football fan. He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, who were his whole world. Another favorite past time of Steve’s was changing his oil, breaks, and handwashing his beloved Dodge Challenger.
Serving as pallbearers are David Allard, Jason Allard, Bob Allard, Bobby Kennedy, David Kennedy, and Troy Osborne.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery at Coal city. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
