Steve Gall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jardine Funeral Home, Inc. - Strongsville on Jan. 2, 2026.
Steve J. Gall, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on July 11, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, Steve was a man whose life was defined by devotion to his family, his faith, and his unwavering integrity.

Steve's journey began as the son of the late Steve and Elizabeth Gall, and he grew up alongside his sisters, the late Lillian Shuster and Elizabeth Masterson. His early years in Cleveland laid the foundation for a life full of love, hard work, and service. Steve's heart found its match when he married his beloved wife, Margaret A. Gall (nee Jacobs), with whom he shared 54 years of marriage until her passing. Together, they raised a family that would be his pride and joy: Sharon Klaehn (Dave), Susanne Ludwig (Bob Strong), Steven Gall (Debbie), and Scott Gall. Steve was also a special friend to Maryann, who cherished his companionship and warmth.

In his professional life, Steve was the respected owner of Approved Statewide Title Company, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his work. At the age of 59, Steve chose to step away from his career, embarking on a well-deserved retirement that allowed him to focus on his many passions and his family.

Steve's faith was a guiding light throughout his life, and he found solace and strength in attending church services and living out his beliefs through acts of kindness and charity. He was a man who led by example, showing others the power of a compassionate heart and a generous spirit.

Steve's interests were a reflection of the man he was: gentle, loving, and always seeking to bring joy to those around him. He was an avid golfer, finding tranquility on the greens, a patient fisherman, enjoying quiet moments by the water and always looked forward to a good cocktail (it's 5 o'clock somewhere!). Above all, Steve cherished the time spent with his family, whether it was a simple family dinner or a grandchild's birthday celebration.

As a grandfather and great-grandfather, Steve's legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle), Alissa (Tony), Ann-marie (Nick), Jennifer (Kiley), Justin (Elizabeth), Nikki, Danielle (Jamie), Brenden, and Sierra, as well as his eight great-grandchildren. His lessons of love, patience, and kindness are treasures that they will carry with them always.

Steve's life was one of purpose, love, and generosity. His memory will be held in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we say farewell to this remarkable man, we celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives and the enduring love he shared with each of us.

VISITATION SUNDAY, JANUARY 4, 2026 from 1-4PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 4PM at Jardine's. A private family burial will take place at Strongsville Cemetery.

Our condolences to Steve´s family and his dear friend Maryann. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Jane and I have so many, many wonderful memories of Steve. Jane was fortunate enough to have gone to school with Steve and they graduated together from High School. One of our most treasured and fun memories was our trip to Hawaii with Steve and Peg. Steve will remain forever in our hearts until we meet again......Praying for peace, strength, and comfort as the Family and Maryann face the difficult days ahead. May Steve Rest In Peace.

Our Deepest Sympathy,
Don & Jane Kolesar
