On January 9, 2015, Steve was united in holy matrimony with Shelly Howell. Their union was blessed with one child: McKenna Holmes.
Steve was employed in the Hospitality Industry. He was a lover of sports and dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Florida State Seminoles, and the Miami Heat.
Steve Austin Holmes departed this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by: Grandmothers: Henrietta Hones Holmes(Grandmother who raised him), Chenester Jackson; Uncles: Ivin Hones, Woodrow Jackson; Aunts: Carrie Ann Hones, Carolyn Coats.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife Shelly Holmes; Son: Mark Tamblyn; Daughters: Stenequa Holmes, McKenna Holmes, Mallory Tamblyn all of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Parents: Billie Hones and Denese Robinson Hones of Stuart, FL; Brother: Billy (Laleatha) Holmes Jr. of Stuart, FL; Sister: Minister Lashawnda (Sal) Jackson Williams of Vero Beach, FL; Uncles: Charles Coats Sr of Palm Bay, FL; Carl (Patricia) Robinson of Stuart, FL; Calvin Jackson of Indiantown, FL; Aunts: Sherly (Freeman) Parks of Columbia, SC, Betty (Keith) Parker of Fort Pierce, FL, Annie Ruth Burgess of Indiantown, FL; Mother-n-law: Kelly Howell of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Special Nephews: Andy Dort and Victor Toussaint; Special Cousin: Charles Coats Jr.; Close Friends: Ruben Massas and Ruben Massas Jr. and a host of grandaunts, granduncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
